Project Overview
This project involved the supply of 317 tons of high-specification steel pipes for a marine piling application in New Zealand. The project utilized a combination of pipe types to meet varied structural and environmental requirements:
ERW Steel Pipes: 406 mm and 457 mm
Spiral Steel Pipes: 508 mm
T-Welded Steel Pipes: 762 mm and 1067 mm
Customized Design & Surface Protection
To ensure durability in demanding marine conditions, the pipes featured advanced protective coatings tailored to their application environment:
3LPE Coating (Three-Layer Polyethylene) applied to designated pipe segments
Thermal-Sprayed Aluminum Coating on selected pipe sections for enhanced corrosion resistance
End Preparation: Both ends of the pipes were fitted with welded miter supports and specialized pile tips
Project Execution & Capability Highlights
Through close collaboration with the client, we delivered a fully integrated steel pipe solution that combined structural precision with durable surface protection. Our ability to supply and finish multiple pipe types, along with specialized welding and coating treatments, supported the project’s technical and durability requirements.
Quality Assurance & Outcome
Every pipe underwent rigorous quality checks and was supplied in accordance with project specifications and coating standards. By integrating advanced materials and protective technologies, we helped enhance the longevity and performance of the marine pile infrastructure.
This project demonstrates our capacity to deliver multi-format, high-durability piping solutions tailored to specialized construction and marine environments.
